Collect the subs
One payment request per family per month, on the club's own account. Processing is Adfin's standard rate, 1% + 20p, on every plan. SquadPilot does not add a surcharge, and the monthly fee is a separate Direct Debit. A failed payment leaves that month open.
Keep one ledger
Receipts and payments, funds, nominals, exceptions, and an examiner CSV. Each team has its own book. If the club later registers as a charity, that file is the one the examiner takes. At £250,000 gross receipts, or where the charity must accrue, the examiner still prepares accruals accounts. This pack does not.
Gift Aid waits for charity status
A club registered only as a CASC cannot claim Gift Aid on membership fees. SquadPilot does not register the club as a charity. When the club is a charity, the authorised official submits the file the app prepares. We do not submit it.

Can a CASC claim Gift Aid on membership fees?
Gift Aid on membership fees is for a charity. A club registered only as a CASC cannot claim it on membership fees. If the club later registers as a charity, the receipts-and-payments file is already the one the examiner takes. SquadPilot does not register the club as a charity.

How do parents pay subs?
Memberships are collected on the club's own Adfin account. One payment request per family per month. SquadPilot connects the way an accountant connects to a client. A failed Direct Debit leaves that month open. The treasurer can send another way to pay the same request. It does not become a second bill.
