Collect grassroots football fees without chasing every parent

15 October 2026

How a club can move subs to Direct Debit on its own account, with published SquadPilot pricing and Adfin's standard processing on every plan.

Grassroots treasurers spend too much of the season chasing cash, bank transfers, and one-off card payments. A clearer model is one monthly collection per family, on the club's own payment account, with every fee visible in the cashbook.

What parents actually pay

  • Membership is collected on the club's own Adfin account โ€” one payment request per family per month.
  • Processing on every SquadPilot plan is Adfin's standard rate, 1% plus 20p, on each cleared membership payment.
  • The SquadPilot monthly fee is a separate Direct Debit on SquadPilot's own Adfin account. It is never taken out of a parent's payment.

What the club keeps in one place

SquadPilot is built for charity grassroots clubs: a receipts-and-payments face for your examiner, a book for every team, Gift Aid prepared for the club to submit, and the grass tools โ€” venues, training plans, governance tasks โ€” in the same monthly fee.

When a Direct Debit fails

A failed Direct Debit leaves that month open. The treasurer can send another way to pay the same request. It does not become a second bill.

That is the same behaviour whether you are on Starter or Club Pro: the processing rate does not change with plan size.
